DONATIONS & CONTRIBUTIONS
Welcome to the 2025/2026 Castro Valley High School instrumental music year! Our musicians will experience amazing opportunities from pep band to field shows, community events, competitions, and concerts. To make these experiences possible, the CVHS instrumental music programs rely on family contributions and Brigade Boosters fundraising to cover program costs such as event & competition entry fees, instructors, instrument repairs & equipment upkeep, transportation & travel expenses, sheet music, uniforms, and show materials.
Band Contributions
Each family is asked to make a per student participation contribution of $125 for the classroom and $750 for Marching Band. While you technically cannot be required to make your student’s participant contribution, your donation is absolutely necessary. We receive only $4,000 from the school district, while projected expenses for 2025–2026 exceed $90,000. Contributions are expected at the beginning of the school year and support all of our instrumental music programs:
